I was born in Hertfordshire, England, in 1967. I have always been a great lover of art and showed some promise at school, but this wasn’t really encouraged as a career or developed any further after the age of 18. I simply lacked creativity, inspiration and confidence to pursue it any further.

After studying business at university, I trained as an accountant, moving to Australia in 2000 and joined a consultancy as a change manager. My professional career in Australia has developed an eye for detail, process and confidence when undertaking long term projects.

When diagnosed with cancer I found myself at home for some time facing a long recovery. To pass the time, I was encouraged by my family to paint to help my recuperation. I rediscovered my passion with the benefit of a lifetime of experiences and exceptional friendships to inspire me and the confidence which comes with maturity. I hope my work gives you as much pleasure as it did me in creating them.
